The End Times Are Cumming: Meet I Got Cucked by a Cryptid: Mothman
I have written a book about Mothman stealing a man’s girlfriend, destroying his self-respect, and possibly bringing civilization to a glowing, bridge-snapping climax.
I regret nothing.
Welcome to Point Pleasant. Please leave your dignity in the car.
I Got Cucked by a Cryptid: Mothman is a filthy pulp horror-comedy about Don, a warehouse worker whose ordinary miserable life ends the night a seven-foot winged nightmare with burning red eyes takes an interest in his girlfriend, Kayla.
Most men would call the police. Don buys trail cameras.
What follows is part paranormal romance, part cosmic humiliation ritual, part end-of-the-world documentary, and part extremely questionable personal-growth journey. Don turns his backyard shed into a surveillance bunker. Kayla starts glowing. Mothman becomes less of a local legend and more of an aggressively confident homewrecker. Meanwhile, the bridges around Point Pleasant begin making noises that engineers would describe as “concerning” and Don would describe as “great content.”
How did this beautiful disaster happen?
I wanted to write a cryptid story that treated the folklore with affection while sprinting straight past good taste without checking for traffic. Mothman already has everything a pulp hero needs: wings, mystery, red eyes, ominous bridge energy, and the kind of entrance that makes everybody else in the room feel underdressed.
Then Don showed up—a narrator with cheap beer, expensive memory cards, crippling insecurity, and one emotionally supportive folding chair. The poor bastard began as a jealous boyfriend and somehow became the official chronicler of the horny apocalypse. That transformation is the rotten little heart of the book.
Yes, the story is vulgar. Yes, it is absurd. Yes, there are sentences in it that would make a respectable cryptozoologist walk into the woods and never come back. But underneath the wings, bad decisions, and glowing bodily fluids, it is also about surrendering the life you thought you were supposed to have—and discovering that your actual purpose may be much stranger, funnier, and more humiliating.
What kind of reader is this for?
- Cryptid fans who think folklore needs more terrible decisions.
- Horror-comedy readers who like their apocalypse messy.
- Pulp lovers who miss lurid covers, doomed narrators, and absolutely shameless premises.
- Anyone who has ever looked at Mothman and thought, “That creature could ruin a relationship.”
If you want restrained literary realism, I respect your journey. This is not that journey. This journey has red eyes, collapsing infrastructure, psychic domination, and a man whispering nature-documentary narration from inside a cuck shed.
A responsible adult-content warning
For mature readers only. This book contains strong language, explicit sexual content, cuckold and humiliation themes, paranormal horror, catastrophic violence, and enough bad judgment to power West Virginia for a week.
Everyone in the sexual situations is an adult. Mothman has not provided a birth certificate, but he has been terrifying Point Pleasant since 1966 and carries himself like a creature with a fully vested retirement plan.

I Got Cucked by a Cryptid: Mothman is now available from Oliver Ahn. If the premise makes you laugh, recoil, question my upbringing, or check the nearest bridge for structural damage, then this beautiful little obscenity was written for you.
Read it somewhere private. Keep the blinds closed. And if the power cuts out while two red lights appear beyond the window, remember: Don brought extra memory cards.
