Listen here.

Y’all been asking why I ain’t dropped a new book in a minute. Truth is, I’ve been busy. Busy making money, breaking hearts, feeding hogs, and reminding Atlanta that Red Clay County still got teeth.

They call me the Coldest Thug in the Dirty South for a reason. I don’t just talk shit — I back it up with a smile, a loaded pistol, and a raccoon that’s seen things no animal should ever see.

Last week some pretty boy from Buckhead tried to flex on my turf. Sent his boys down in white sneakers like they was on a damn field trip. They left with one shoe each, a story they’ll never tell their mamas, and a lifelong fear of pecan pie. Some boundaries even gangsters respect.

People keep asking: “Why you so cold?”

Simple.

I was raised on sweet tea, backroads, and the understanding that if you let somebody disrespect you once, they’ll do it forever. So I don’t let ‘em. I smile real nice, say “yes ma’am” to the ladies, and then I make sure the problem don’t come back breathing.

This life ain’t for everybody. Some folks want 9-to-5s and 401ks. Me? I want my money fast, my women loyal, and my enemies scared enough to cross the state line before they even think about coming back.

If you new around here, welcome to the dirty. We don’t do handshakes. We do understandings.

You cross me — you get handled. You ride with me — you eat good and sleep light.

And if you one of them Atlanta boys still mad about that farm we burned down?

Good. Stay mad. Keeps you warm at night.

I’ll be back soon with more stories that’ll make your preacher sweat and your grandma clutch her pearls. Until then, keep your head on a swivel, your powder dry, and remember:

In Red Clay County, the coldest thug ain’t the loudest. He’s the one smiling while everybody else is screaming.

Now if y’all excuse me… I got a raccoon to feed and a man’s four-wheeler to “repossess.”

Stay dangerous, —The Coldest Thug in the Dirty South
